Habitat for Humanity of Charles County Celebrates the Grand Opening of the ReStore May 9th!

The NEW Discount Home Improvement "ReStore" by Habitat for Humanity of Charles county will be celebrating its Grand Opening on Saturday, May 9th Attendees will enjoy fun, food and fantastic deals throughout the day beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Habitat for Humanity of Charles County recently opened a Home Improvement Resale store where we obtain surplus home improvement related items from local businesses and families. They are sold in our store and there venue covers the organizations operation expenses. This enables Habitat for Humanity to become more self-sufficient and allows supporters of Habitat for Humanity to have 100% of their donation going to Habitat homes.

The ReStore is located at the south end of the Bargain Barn in Hughesville, MD. Everyone is invited to celebrate with us!

Local Concert to Benefit The Southern Maryland Chapter of the American Red Cross

The Southern Maryland Chapter of the American Red Cross would like to welcome one and all to a benefit concert for ARC Southern Maryland Disaster Relief. This concert is scheduled for Friday, March 27th and stars the John Luskey Band along with another rising Southern Maryland star - Jeff Miller. The show is at Holiday Inn Select in Solomons and the doors open at 7:00 pm. The cost is $20 and all proceeds go to the chapter's Disaster Relief Fund. Outstanding food and drink will be sold, courtesy of Holiday Inn Select.
